Fun Fact for the Day

Did you know that the skin of mangos contains a protein similar to the one that causes reactions in poison ivy?

I just found out.

No, I didn’t but this may explain why mangoes is the only fruit I am allergic to.

I just need to use a fork – and wash afterward. But I actually ate one last night. My wife peeled it for me.

Well, the skin has always just been the speed-bump on the road to goodness. I’ll refrain from “wife-serving-husband” comments, and simply say that I’m glad you can still eat them.
