Do I come across as Arrogant?

The analysis indicates that the author of
is of the type:

INTP – The Thinkers

The logical and analytical type. They are especialy attuned to difficult creative and intellectual challenges and always look for something more complex to dig into. They are great at finding subtle connections between things and imagine far-reaching implications.

They enjoy working with complex things using a lot of concepts and imaginative models of reality. Since they are not very good at seeing and understanding the needs of other people, they might come across as arrogant, impatient and insensitive to people that need some time to understand what they are talking about.

Is this true? Do I come across this way? I hope not…

  1. Why’d it take you so long to ask?

I think you once said something about how I now remind you of you when you were 10. . . .

which is how Dr. James McGrath comes across. . . .

and Elshaddai Edwards, and Iyov, and several others. The latter pointed out this:

An INTP meeting another INTP is an excellent example of this; the conversation will frequently begin with a recognition of a shared interest, such as science fiction, and continue with a rapid exchange of data and theories incomprehensible to an outsider to the conversation, the two only breaking off when interrupted by a third party or thirst.

So how do we come across?

  2. Hmmm…well, I fluctuate between INTP and INFP depending on the day of the week, but if that’s what you got too, then iI’m a little suspicious of this “analyzer.”

  3. I’ve done a version of this test (a personal rather than blog version) and come out as INTP also… maybe this is just the default thing that they say if the test stuffs up…

  4. As an ENFP I can authoritatively say that you are terrific. Especially that new dashing avatar. Makes me think you’re woodsy and slightly witty and devilish.

And BTW Myers-Briggs is oh-so last century. These days we all want to know what flavor of ice cream you are.

Actually the most powerful metric that I’ve been exposed to is StrengthFinders. It is far more useful to me than MB.

Somebody besides me corrected your spelling?!?
