Tomato Sauce – Or Not Studying Greek Part X

I just made the most amazing pizza sauce for tomorrow night. We went to the store for vegetables and found ripe tomatoes for $.49 a pound – so… we bought 7lbs worth. Two thirds of them went to the sauce and the rest went to salsa.


I actually blended a basic tomato sauce together with a bell pepper garlic sauce for an absolutely delightful blend of flavors – also this is the first time I’ve cooked with wine, which in of itself was rather exciting. I’ve made the basic sauce before, but the pepper garlic sauce was a new adventure. I didn’t know how it would turn out, but it couldn’t have been better. I’m so excited for pizza tomorrow!

Now I’m going to go eat salsa and watch an old movie.
