The book in question, Biblical Translation in Chinese and Greek (Linguistic Biblical Studies), is an whole-sale acceptance and application of Porter’s approach to the Greek verb tied in with translation methodology and Mandarin Chinese linguistics–a highly specialized volume.
The review itself is a mix of positive and negative. And it worth reading. I think it provides a balance to the overly (?) enthusiastic review of this same book on Amazon.
