A Role & Reference Grammar Christmas

One of my goals for 2020 is to finally finish my series of posts about syntactic theory (see, for example, A Brief History of Syntactic Theory: Early Chomsky, which is the first part of the series). The end goal of the series is to layout my own interests and priorities for modeling Ancient Greek syntax for larger scale tree banking of Koine texts, using Role and Reference Grammar (RRG).

In the meantime and for the holidays, I made an RRG representation of Luke 2:12.

The GraphML file is available for download here, if you’d like to see what the format looks like: RRG Syntactic Representation of Luke 2:12.

Merry Christmas!
